Efrén Solanas, MA, LMFT

(he/him)

Efrén is the grand explorer of the Relationship Therapy Center. Whatever journey his clients are on, he enthusiastically jumps on and is the consummate companion and guide – no matter where that journey ventures. Efrén has the ability to honor individuals and relationships in a way we’ve never seen before. He holds the kind of respect for people that can’t be taught. It can only be earned over a lifetime of myriad experiences – all in the service of trying to understand the intricacies and complexities of how relationships work.

His profound ability to recognize and value each person ensures that couples feel truly cared for and acknowledged for who they are and what they seek from their lives and therapy. For Efrén, therapy is not just a profession but a true way of life. Every experience he has accumulated contributes to his uniquely personal approach to supporting couples, making his care deeply individualized and genuine. Efrén feels particularly passionate about treating relationship and family trauma, as well as working with couples who are marginalized by race, religion, gender, or sexuality. Efrén is passionate about working with LGBTQIA+ clients, as well as helping individuals recover from personal trauma through the use of Brainspotting trauma therapy.
